Sunday Morning

Ruby throated hummingbird; the iridescence never ceases to amaze me. It flashes on and off so quickly. This photo and the next two are all the same bird.

I didn’t see the golden fronted woodpeckers for a while but they have not left. The young birds are really getting their colors on.
A young male, not at all scraggly.
