Our first trip to Texas to look for a place was Jan 26-29, 2018. We flew into San Antonio on Jan 26 and spent the night in San Marcos. Next day we checked out Lake Buchanan and Lake Travis, west of Austin, then on Jan 28 (one year ago tomorrow) we drove past 975 Mt Lookout Drive and one other house on Canyon Lake, and also looked at Medina Lake, west of San Antonio. It’s amazing how much can occur in one year!

AND if you had been able to see our house, you probably would have kept looking. So either way the road to this house was filled with non starters. It has been an unbelievable year.
